Derrick Rodney is a human resources management professional with over 16 years of senior management experience and expertise, and is currently responsible for leading the HR function of the bank. Mr. Rodney has worked for global organisations, including the Hay Group UK, a leading human resources consulting firm, where he spent 10 years advising companies on HR management issues across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. He spent nearly two years with KPMG consulting in the UK before relocating to the Middle East five years ago where he led the HR consulting practice for KPMG Bahrain and other GCC countries. Most recently, Mr. Rodney worked for Ahli United Bank setting strategic requirements for a bank-wide HR management system for their Bahrain, London, Qatar and Kuwait operations.
Over the years, Mr. Rodney has worked with several leading client financial institutions, including Credit Suisse First Boston, Al Bank Al Saudi Al Fransi, Riyad Bank, Al Rajhi Bank, Arab National Bank and Saudi Hollandi Bank.
Mr. Rodney is a graduate with an HND in Business and Financial Administration with a focus on Human Resources, from Hertfordshire University, UK.
